Innovation in Benefits Award

In 2005, the Chelko Consulting Group’s work on Parker Hannifin Corporation’s Parker Healthy People program received the prestigious Innovation in Benefits Award from the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network (WEB). Accepting this award with Rick Chelko were Craig Mockler, VP of Compensation and Benefits, and Keith Race, Manager of Benefits Communication and Technology, for Parker Hannifin.

The Parker Healthy People program includes a blend of high quality health information, on-line health risk appraisals, follow-up coaching and intervention services, and on-site wellness program delivery - with a unique computer-based training approach and strong motivation strategy. All combined, these initiatives engaged over 80% of employees and 70% of spouses – leading to better healthcare and benefits decisions.
