He is recognized as an industry expert in the areas of health care consumerism, benefit design and health and productivity management. He directly consults on, and delivers, creative life and health benefits solutions to a number of large and entrepreneurial companies in Northern Ohio.

Sample Achievements

  • Established a “balanced scorecard” approach to monitoring and managing the key financial and non-financial performance results associated with group health plans. This approach has enabled one notable client to achieve a multi-year reduction in its plan costs.
  • Developed a best practice approach to formulating guiding principles and migration strategies for aligning employee benefits programs with a company’s current and future business needs.
  • Generated $2.0 million in annual Life and Accidental Death plan savings for a large manufacturer through expert claim analysis, plan redesign and carrier negotiations.
