Derek Sloan
Derek is a consulting associate with The Chelko Consulting Group LLC and a member of its Center for Benefits Management, Inc. Derek joined the Chelko Group in 2005. Derek brought a strong set of analytical and quantitative skills to our firm and puts those to use in a variety of research and analysis projects for our clients. While with our firm, he has developed experience with life and disability plan selection, PBM analysis, balanced scorecard production and analysis, and medical claim data reporting. Derek also serves as the firm’s champion for data reporting, benchmarking, and legislative content and technology.

Derek previously held financial analysis and accounting positions in the automotive and home products industries.
Education and Professional Certifications
Derek received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, OH. Derek has actively supported the Cleveland Chapter of Worldwide Employee Benefits network. Derek is a licensed Life, Accident and Health agent in the State of Ohio.
